Description: The aesthetic was a feeling of green. I had to paint something green that day. Then, intuition guided the rest of the collage as per usual.
The title came to me when I read a poem by @seaziziwrites (IG) - in her newly published book of poetry, “Make a Wish”.

The poem is called “Be Quiet” and the line that inspires the title (and my meaning of this work) is:
“I am that which cannot be contained. I weep & storm & flood. I am potential space.”

Thus far, my favorite poem in the book, though I have not read them all yet. Sarah has been a huge support since we met and it is such a great honor to share creative space with her and know and love her.

Lately, I have been feeling sad and I’m fighting so hard inside the depths of my mind and soul to really just stay afloat and present and to feel like all is not futile.
So I’m gonna take up space. And try not to apologize for it or feel like I’m unworthy of it. Yes, the sad are temporary. I will get through this. the art absolutely helps.
