When starting this work, I pictured a skull in a desert in my head. I did not know where this was going beyonds that. I decided to adorn the skull with some botanicals and create a “still life” which is rare for me. Then, I thought, “still…there is life coming out of the skull and around it”, so the title with the ellipsis makes SO MUCH sense!

This is an original hand cut and pasted collage on a 5x5x1.25 inch canvas. All collage elements are vintage (most from the 60's). I have applied generous coats of a UV protective archival gloss varnish to the surface and painted edges. You can display this piece in a table or wall!

This piece is titled and signed on the back of the canvas.
