Description: The woman is naked, representing her simultaneous strength and vulnerability. In this piece, She IS America. She sits atop a giant tower of SPAM sandwiches, indicative of the fast food - All American diet we perpetually gorge ourselves on. The tower overlooks the planet Earth.
She scratches her head, wondering how she (America) got here, how even the planet even got to this point… and part of her thinks she indeed is a glutton for punishment.

I created this piece during the “Presidential” “debate” in June 2024. (Like - yay! Another choice between two OLD white men!) The collage elements are all from the late 50’s and early 60’s, significant times in this country, and in this world, AND for women.

This artwork is hand cut and pasted collage - Created on 11x14x1.5 inch cradled wood and is finished with a UV Protective and archival gloss varnish.

Your original art is signed on the back as well as wired to hang, and will be packaged with TLC and sent with tracking and insurance.
